The Nature of the Corporation

Putting Purpose into Practice and the Economics of Mutuality

The 8 sessions below were recorded in June 2021 at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School with a number of students present in the lecture theatre and others joining remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They form an elective MBA module led by Professor Colin Mayer CBE and feature a range of expert speakers.

The module aims to provide students with an understanding of the opportunity business leaders, investors, and policymakers have to reposition the corporation positively in ways that reflect the changing needs of society and the environment in today’s world.

It brings together material from many different parts of the MBA and MFE programmes, as well as breakthrough findings from the longstanding Oxford EoM Research Lab.

Please note that all student interactions including Q&As have been edited out for privacy reasons.
